In an alternate timeline, superheroes and supervillains are oh-so common. They've become instant celebrities. Supervillains are constantly trying to carry out nefarious deeds. Superheroes are the last and greatest line of defense, and sidekicks are there to help them defeat evil and save the day. These costumed crusaders are the things dreams are made of. So it would surprise people to know that these super cool supers started out as nothing more than acne plagued, hormonal, fun loving teenagers.
Yes, teenagers. Teenagers with superpowers to be exact. Because adolescence just isn't hard enough without having to worry about controlling freaky superstrength, lasers shooting out your eyes, telepathy, or any other variety of powers. Thankfully there's a place for these superteens to turn.
Jinmu Academy is Tokyo's best kept secret. It's been training superteen's for 250 years now under the guise of a school for genius children. "Gifted" as the school's staff put it. Gifted sure sums it up well. Here students are taught to embrace their power, to control it, to be all they can be. Supervillains, superheroes, and sidekicks to-be walk these hallowed halls. Along with all the normal drama of high school, they'll be forced to come to terms with who and what they are. Of course, they won't have to go through it alone. Allies and enemies will be found within the crowded classrooms. And of course, within the office of the reclusive child prodigy Laguna-sama, principal of the school.
