The Three Broomsticks The Three Broomsticks, a rather famouse place amongst Wizarding folk. It's almost unheard of to leave Hogsmead without stopping in for a butterbeer. Though the building itself is not brightly colored or interesting to look at, but it does have that warm, homely feeling. The only thing that makes The Three Broomsticks really stand out, is the large, wooden sign that hangs directly above the entrance.
Hogwarts guests and travelers may come here for a room for the night. Hogwarts students and staff may come here to meet and talk with friends.

The Shrieking Shack The Shrieking Shack is considered by many historians, to be one of the most haunted building in all of the United Kingdom. The locals have reported in the past that dreadful screaming and moaning has come from the shack, but in recent years, the shack has remained silent.
Students are strictly forbidden from entering this building without the permission of the Headmaster and the supervision of a teacher.

The Post Office The Post Office is a small building located just around the corner from the Three Broomsticks. The building itself appears to made of some random stones strung together by magic to make it stay. But, as the Head Postman would proudly explain, the Post Office is one of the few buildings in Hogsmead to be hand-built. Once inside, it's rather dark, much like Eeylops Owl Emporium. The only light in the whole building is a rather large oil lamp hanging right above the counter.
The owls themselves, are marvelous to behold. Hundreds of owls, all shapes, sizes, colors and species line the walls. Almost every type from the proud Great Greys to the hyperactive Scops. Each owl is categorized by size of post and length of journey.
Students and Staff members without owls, with sickly owls or with owls that currently in use may come here to send any post.
Honeydukes Honeydukes, definately one of the top places to be at in Hogsmead. This cheery little shop is famous for it's delightful and delicious sweets and candies. Such household favorites like chocolate frogs or peppermint humbugs to interesting party starters like Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans or Drooble's Blowing Gum or even to exotic candies like acid pops or thingyroach clusters.
Students may shop to their little heart's content on candy. Just remember to bring lots of gold!
Zonkos Joke Shop Zonkos is definately the most colorful shop on the street. The rather small building is painted in bright and lively colors to attract customers with large and equally colorful posters advertising new products or best sellers. Inside the shop itself, it's filled to the brim with pranking students and shelves upon shelves of store items. It's almost as crowded as Honeydukes!
Remember students, most of the items that are for sale at this store are under a blanket ban. Ban issued by Argus Filche.
Note: Owned by Weasley Wizard Wheezes and sells much of the same items.

Gladrags Wizardwear Gladrags is a small, normal looking clothing store, located a ten minute walk, eastward from Madame Puddifoot's. Or at least on the outside. Just by opening the door, a wave of strangeness rushes at the unsuspecting customer. Shelves upon shelves of bright and colorfully patterened robes and the widest selection of wierd patterened socks. Apparantly, Gladrags gets a lot of business because they have two other branches in London and Paris, France. Moderator: Professor Ella J. Braxton

Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop is a smallish-looking shop on High Street. Once inside, any customer would feel cramped by the vast amount of feathers populating the shelves. Any kind of feather from a downy goose feather to a luxiurious peathingy feather could be found carved into a quill. Not only are quills sold here, various colored bottles of ink, parchment and odd do-dads and trinkets are sold here. Moderator: Professor Ella J. Braxton
